DescriptionDetails

Te Wāhi means ‘the place’ in te reo Māori, reflecting both the importance of terroir and the sense of finding our second home. It is a powerful wine with an opulent core of dark berry fruit and structured tannins. Over time, warm spices and notes of forest floor flourish and provide complexity.

How does Te Wāhi 2014 taste?

A relatively cool year in Central Otago ended with an extended indian summer, allowing for slow ripening and flavour development. The resulting wine is focused and complex, with notes of plum and rich Christmas cake, balanced by supple, velvety tannins and a burst of damson acidity.
