How does Pinot Noir 2008 taste?

The 2008 season began with idyllic flowering weather, which led to excellent fruit set for all varieties. A warm summer followed, providing perfect ripening. The Pinot Noir when young was enticing, with notes of boysenberry, leather and sweet spices.
