Cooking over fire in the middle of winter? It doesn’t get much better than that. You’re invited to join us for a long lunch on Saturday 12 July at The Shed in Central Otago.
We've partnered with Food By Fire for their Full Hearth Experience: a long, open-fire lunch with no seating plan and plenty of time to wander and chat. Our winemaker Dan Sorrell and Central Otago vineyard manager Derek Beirnes will join you on the day, so there'll be a chance to say hello and chat.

Things kick off with a welcome glass of Pelorus and yakitori cooked over charcoal in front of you: chicken with a sticky house tare, lamb with whipped tahini and zhug salsa, oyster mushrooms and charred brassicas.
Then the main event, served walk-and-fork style so you can wander between the fire and the table. Harissa lamb shoulder with roasted carrots, venison with six-hour cabbage, fire-cooked hapuka and wood-fired butternut with stracciatella.
And finally, a surprise dessert paired with a glass of Pelorus Rosé.
Dietary requirements are no trouble. Just let us know when you book.

Two new wines
We'll have a corner set aside for two new wines from our Founder Cellar Range, one of which is part of your July shipment.
You’ll be able to taste both, and take a bottle (or two) home on the day. You can pick up your July shipment at the event too, if it’s convenient.
