Discover Jack’s Raw Bar

One of eight Marlborough restaurants named in Cuisine Magazine’s 2023/2024 Good Food Guide, Jack’s Raw Bar is our relaxed summer garden restaurant, surrounded by vineyards and the breathtaking Richmond Ranges. It’s the perfect place to lap up Marlborough’s famous sunshine while enjoying spectacular wines and food.

Jack’s is a raw restaurant, so fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients are at the heart of every dish. Executive chef Toby Stuart has completely refreshed the menu for summer 2024, with oysters and Cloudy Bay clams, local line-caught fish, vibrant garden salads, ever-changing specials and delicious desserts on offer.

Red meat lovers should note that delicacies such as spicy grass-fed beef tartare are only available for a limited time, so book in now while it’s available!

Jack’s Raw Bar is open for lunch daily from 12-3 pm until 30 April, while the Cloudy Bay Cellar Door is open daily from 10 am-4 pm all year round, serving olives, sourdough bread and oysters to accompany your wine tasting.

Lunch might draw you in, but we have a few more reasons for you to stay a while.

Of course, the Cellar Door is available year-round for tastings. But we like to take things further than what you might find at most cellar doors by offering matchless Private Experiences. These bespoke adventures allow you to explore our home, taste the best local produce, and even stay for a few nights.

First Taste Tours are the ideal introduction to Cloudy Bay. This half-day experience starts with a tour of our Marlborough vineyards, before returning to the Cellar Door for a hosted tasting and a visit to the Founders Cellar. This is a great way to immerse yourself or someone else into the world of Cloudy Bay.

Tailor-Made Tastings are a great option for couples and groups of up to 18 people, with a hosted vineyard walk and a private tailored tasting with an optional lunch at the Cellar Door.
