Cellar Door
We reckon there's no better place to enjoy a wine than where it was made. Set out for our Marlborough Cellar Door, among the vineyards and mountains that shape every bottle, and taste our wines at leisure. Relax with a glass or two in good company, or explore deeper with a seated tasting: it's all the Cloudy Bay way of life.
Before you visit
A few things to know, so your time with us runs beautifully.
Booking: We'd always recommend booking ahead, so we can keep a table waiting for you. Hoping to visit today? Give us a call on +64 3 520 9147.
Who to count: When you book, please include everyone joining you, not only those tasting. We need your full party number to seat you together.
Group of 2 to 8: Book online and choose whichever tastings take your fancy on the day. Nothing is charged when you book.
Group of 9 or more: We'd love to host you, so do get in touch at cellar.door@cloudybay.co.nz or +64 3 520 9147. Larger groups are hosted in our upstairs space, sharing one tasting selection from a rotating choice of our portfolio wines. Where nine or more people are tasting, we ask for a prepayment to confirm the booking.
Good to know:Tastings last around 45 minutes and are seated indoors. Over the cooler months you're welcome to add a cheese and charcuterie platter. Our tastings change with the seasons, so there's often something new to pour. Final tastings are offered 45 minutes before closing.

Saku at Cloudy Bay presents a refined culinary experience where the elegance of Japanese gastronomy meets Cloudy Bay wines. Traditional Japanese techniques with modern creativity, the menu highlights the purity of ingredients and the harmony of flavours. The name “Saku” means “to bloom” in Japanese, beautifully reflecting Saku’s philosophy of growth, seasonality, and the natural beauty that surrounds this iconic wine region.
