By registering as a member of Cloudy Bay Wine Club, Cloudy Bay Circle (the “Club)”, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

1. Membership Requirements

1.1. Under New Zealand law, members of the Club must be 18 years of age or older.

 

2. Membership Commitment Details

2.1. Upon joining, the Club members will commit to one of the two memberships: six bottle or twelve bottle.

 

2.2. Six bottle members will receive a club selection of six 750ml bottles of Cloudy Bay wines delivered to the member’s nominated delivery address three times a year. The price will vary for each selection and be determined by the wine chosen as per clause 2.4.

 

2.3. Twelve bottle members will receive a club selection of twelve 750ml bottles of Cloudy Bay wines delivered to the member’s nominated delivery address three times a year The price will vary for each selection and be determined by the wine chosen as per clause 2.4.

 

2.4. The choice of wine for the Club Selection is carefully picked up by Cloudy Bay at its sole discretion. Members will receive an email indicating the Club Selection and a cutover date to login and edit the delivery. With no action before the cutover date, members will be charged and received the Cloudy Bay curated Club Selection.

 

2.5. The member will receive their first club selection on the next calendar shipment (March, July, November) and every 4 months after.

 

2.6. Club members may defer or cancel their membership according to Clause 8 below.

 

3. Membership Benefits

3.1. Access to limited-editions wines museum wines, exclusive offers, and discounts.

 

3.2. Priority invitation and special pricing for events.

 

3.3. A 10% discount on food, wine, and experiences at our Cellar Doors and online for our 6 bottle members. The discount on all experiences (on-premises wine and dining) is limited to a table of six persons including the member. For the discount to be applied, the member needs to be present and be paying the full bill.

 

3.4. A 15% discount on food, wine, and experiences at our Cellar Doors and online for our 12 bottle members. The discount on all experiences (on-premise wine and dining) is limited to a table of six persons including the member. For the discount to be applied, the member needs to be present and be paying the full bill.

 

3.5. Six (6) complimentary tastings at the Cloudy Bay Cellar Door in Marlborough or Central Otago (for the members, its guests or to be gifted) per year for our six bottle members.

 

3.6. Twelve (12) complimentary tastings at the Cloudy Bay Cellar Door in Marlborough or Central Otago (for the members, its guests or to be gifted) per year for our twelve bottle members.

 

3.7. Free shipping on the club selections, options to customize each selection. Shipping is free for additional order for twelve bottle members. A $10 flat fee on additional order applies for six bottle members, free from order larger than 12 bottles.

 

3.8. Annual Behind the Scenes tour at the Cloudy Bay Cellar Door in Marlborough, for the member and up to 5 guests visit must be arranged at least 3 business days prior to the visit.

 

3.9. Access to a Cloudy Bay wine advisor and the chance to send questions to the winemaking team.

 

4. Membership Benefits Rules & Restrictions

The aforementioned Membership benefits are subject to the following rules and restrictions:

 

4.1. Member’s entitlement to membership benefits shall only commence from the date of membership confirmation email (‘Membership Confirmation”) sent by Cloudy Bay to the Club member. Membership benefits will continue unless the Club membership is deferred or cancelled in accordance with Clause 8.3. Annual membership benefits will reset on that date every year.

 

4.2. Membership benefits are personal to the Club Member and shall not be transferred, exchanged or otherwise utilized for commercial gain.

 

4.3. All Membership benefits will be suspended immediately in the event that any Club Payment is outstanding, whether due to the invalidity of the credit card or for any other reason that causes the deferral of membership as per Clause 8.2.

 

4.4. The club discounts of each tier at the Cloudy Cellar Door on food, beverage, and experiences cannot be used in conjunction with other Cloudy Bay food, beverage or experience promotions or discounts.

 

4.5. The 10% and 15% discounts at the Cloudy Bay Cellar Doors on food, beverage and experiences cannot be used for groups larger than 6 people, including the member.

 

4.6. The annual Behind the scenes in Marlborough tour needs to be booked at least 3 business day in advance and is subject to availability.

 

4.7. The complimentary tastings can be used by the member, its guests or gifted. To gift some of the tastings, the member needs to email circle@club.cloudybay.co.nz at least one business day prior to the visit, subject to availability.

 

4.8. The exclusive member prices are valid providing that the member is present and paying the bill. Under no circumstances those will be transferred.
